THE POWER OF PLUR

What a weekend Audiotistic was last year.  It was the killer lineup that brought me and my friends to the Shoreline Amphitheater parking lot, but it was the memories we created that made me want to return.  The lineup this year was, again, tops, but I knew that I could only do one day when remembering how rough that Monday was last year.

I was so fucking excited (sorry) to see some acts I LOVE for the first time like Zeds Dead, Svdden Death and Gammer as well as those I've been blessed enough to experience live like Eprom (especially after his killer sets at Bonnaroo this year!!!) and Ganja White Night.  I love these smaller festivals because you can move back and fourth, hit the bathroom or grab a drink pretty quickly without missing too much.

I went with my friend Haley as I debuted my new Atomic Turquoise hair.  From the first set we saw, the day was very high energy.   We linked up with so many people, and I loved just vibing with everyone in the crowds or running up to people rocking Subtronics or RL Grime shirts.  I love going to EDM events because the people are (usually) the nicest.  I ended up at GWN and the beginning of Zeds Dead alone, and this girl saw me and invited me to dance with her friends.  This is really the power of this music.

Some shots I took of other people at the fest

My favorite sets of the day were definitely those last two.  Their visuals are both incredible, and they really know how to throw tf down.  We bumped into the ZD guys on the way out, and I got to thank them for such an incredible set.

I didn't leave my apartment the whole next day as I laid on the couch binging "Selling Sunset."  Even though Audiotistic is a much smaller production for me than Coachella or Bonnaroo, I'm still so grateful for the experience.  Shoutouts to Insomniac for such a great event, and I cannot wait to return again.
