MOON LEGS BRAND IDENTITY + DESIGN

As part of a project for ilovecreatives’ Graphic Design Course, I created MOON LEGS – a natural + non-alcoholic wine brand – inspired by the trippy track of the same title by LSDREAM. I built the brand from the ground up, finalizing in Brand Moodboards, Audits, Concepts, Guidelines + various assets along the way!

Assets + decks designed in Figma, Illustrator + Photoshop.

BRAND AUDIT

It all begins with an overall audit for Moon Legs to establish who we are as a brand + what we are all about. I compared + contrasted against other competitors to help find the extra sweet spot where MOON LEGS exists.

BRAND MOODBOARDS

After auditing, I started crafting a few different branding concepts for the brand – giving each its own visual identity + feel. I break each down by logos, typeface choices, color palettes, photography, graphics, etc. – accounting for just about everything for any sort of inspiration!

2 BRAND CONCEPTS

Once we reviewed the moodboards, I went ahead + put together two fully-flushed-out brand concepts for MOON LEGS. Each is very unique with its own personality – showing clients + brands what is possible for one brand. I was able to break down each concept with different design choices + direction, while building assets to bring the concepts to life!

FINAL BRAND CONCEPT

I worked with my TA to review the concepts + really hone in on one direction. What’s always funny about this process is that you end up going with the direction/concept you thought you’d be less likely to pick! It was fun to really nail that concept for the final. I was able to give a more specific rundown of the main concept I was going forward with.

BRAND GUIDELINES

No branding exercise is complete without nailing + finalizing those brand guidelines! These are the jumping off point of which your brand’s identity is to be known by the world, so it was important for me to be very intentional + detailed here. I was able to really elevate the work from my concept to make it feel as real + applicable as possible.

I feel really strongly about my choices here + am ready to actually create this brand for real!
